The Cradle Mountain Huts Walk is one of Australia's most coveted wilderness experiences — six days of guided walking through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed heart of Tasmania, led by the Tasmanian Walking Company's expert guides who have spent years perfecting this extraordinary journey.

We've partnered with the Tasmanian Walking Company to provide hire gear and recommended products tailored specifically for this walk. Choose from hire overpants, gaiters, and hiking poles, all priced for the full duration of your trip. We also recommend adding a pocket daypack for the side trips — a game changer on the longer excursions — along with an Overland Track map. Your complete order will be delivered to the Walker's Base at the Red Feather Inn, ready for collection when you arrive.

Bushwalking Hire Gear Tasmania was born in 2015 in Launceston, Tasmania. After working a lifetime in the outdoor industry it was seen to be a real need for premium, quality hire gear available for people coming to Tasmania to take on some of the worlds best hikes or just to spend time visiting our state.
